I received this email today, and it’s such a worthy endeavor that I had to take a quick break from the kids and family stuff this week to share it:
I’ve started an online directory called VintageRetroRock.com for things Vintage, Retro & Rockabilly.
I started this website out of frustration in not being able to find vintage boutiques when I traveled, and stylists and makeup artists when I didn’t want to do it myself. I was also tired of seeing my favorite boutiques go out of business because they didn’t get the business they needed because the clientele wanted to keep them their little secret.
Now, so as to not leave out those outside the US & those with online boutiques, I’ve added a new feature on VRR that let’s potential customers know what’s new & what’s on sale at these online stores.
Anyway, it definitely is still a work in progress and I add new resources daily, but I thought I’d reach out to you and network. If you know of salons, freelance artists, boutiques, photography studios, publications, clubs, etc that may be a good fit, I’d appreciate any suggestions.
Please check out the website, spread the word, and “Like” Vintage Retro Rock on FB.
