Sweet & Sexy Pink Slips
Clement Micarelli’s book cover art for Sexbound, 1961 (via La Contessa) reminds me of my adoration of slips — especially pink slips.
Seems like fashion continues to stroll away from delicate feminine colors, opting instead for menswear-styles and rich, bold colors. Heck, even the so-called feminine floral prints do far more screaming for attention than speaking softly, drawing folks nearer…
But I guess the good news is that since most dresses today don’t require slips, you can slide a pretty slip on under nearly any dress — and pink is delicate enough to hide, patiently, until you find an intimate moment to share its tender shade — and perhaps your shapely form too.
To help you shop for your own pink slip (and you know I love to help!), here are a few fabulous vintage finds you’ll find yourself delighted to slip into and slink about in!
