A Breathtaking Boudoir Beauty

Warning! The seller of this beautiful vintage bias cut nightgown uses some silly widget which plays music — and I couldn’t find how to turn it off. So exercise caution, especially if sneaking a peek at work. Or easily annoyed by such things.

In fact, I find such noises so annoying I wasn’t going to post it — but this vintage nightgown is too incredible not to share it. (I’m even avoiding my own silly puns and risque comments for this beauty! lol)

To spare you some trouble, or at least help you decide if it’s worth the annoyance, here’s what the seller posts, along with many of the photos.

Semi Sheer with fabulous lace detail. The skirt is full with a glamorous 166″ swing. Bias inserts so popular in the 40’s on both sides of the embroidered scalloped finished hem. Below the lace trimmed bodice is a inset yoke which is also edged with the same embroidered lace. The lace forms the wide straps and runs down the entire length of the gown, off center front to the hem. The fabric is pulling in a few places around the lace if you look closely but all in all is in very good condition. The label is missing so please see measurements provided.
