Advice from Tea Leoni in her guest bit at Esquire, “10 Things You Don’t Know About Women”:
4. It’s always, always better to go commando than to show up in tighty-whiteys.
Reading this reminded me of when I first ‘met’ Tea; she was on TV, I lounging on the sofa. The show was Flying Blind (it aired on FOX in ’92-’93, before or after Herman’s Head — I’m too lazy to look that all up lol).
I do recall seeing some underthings… (Of course, I was willing to search for those!)
Interestingly, Tea’s paternal grandmother was silent film actress Helenka Adamowska, who died in 1987. Helenka Adamowska Pantaleoni founded the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in 1947. She also was an actress and was in silent films and plays with Clara Bow and Mary Astor. Amazingly, there are no photos of Helenka online.
