From what little I know about these, the Wolverine Company operated right around wartime Under Wolverine Textiles which started in 1914. The Winkler fabric was a textile designer that did a lot of the Nylon work for top designers. I do believe the panties are from the late 50’s/
So far that is all I can come up with to on this. I could be wrong, but I think it was an European manufacturer or most likely Canadian and the photo of the panties are VERY reminiscent of Van Raalte, which just may be a ripoff of the design, but from my understanding are very well made. I will see if I can find out more on these and let you know as soon as I find out more info.
Don also said he’d email me a photo of the reverse side of the tag — not just in his comment post but in an email too, and I’ll share it with you all as soon as I get it.
Keep the info coming!
