How To Get a Pearl Necklace

Pearls – Stay on Long after the Lingerie Comes Off is the headline of the press release used by Elsa Perez, spokeswoman for, to promote pearls (vs. lingerie) as the gift of choice for Valentine’s Day 2007.

I don’t know about you, but the visual of a non-removable pearl necklace makes me want to shower… Maybe I’m just a dirty girl?

:innocent blinking:

I’m not much of a jewelry fan — well, at least compared to lingerie. Call me old fashioned, but this is the order of things:

He presents me with new lingerie

I put it on

We have sex

And then, I get the pearl necklace.

Pretty easy, right?

I did then get a pearl necklace… During the shower, as hubby was gently washing off my neck, I commented on how lovely the necklace was when it was hot… I then asked him for a reminder of such events with a real necklace. But as necklaces aren’t his real gifts (he rarely comes there) he purchased me a lovely vintage long rope of pearls which allows for much more play.

Speaking of jewelry… If you’re single and you need to get your own jewelry Emitations has a Valentine’s Day Contest for a $50 gift certificate.

Send in your best or worst Valentine’s Day gift stories (no more than 250 words please) by February 5th.
