Babs Brings Big Bucks

You know how I feel about dolls… So I must mention that the first Barbie Doll in a zebra-print swimming costume, ponytail, hoop earrings and white-rimmed sunglasses sold at Christies for £2,880 (that $5,470).

The dolls were collected by Dutch fashion designer Ietje Raebel, whose plan to set up a private museum was cut short by her death in 2002.
